Maddux El-Hakam had a great season at St. Francis Episcopal School in Houston, Texas. El-Hakam helped St Francis reach the playoffs for the first time in school history, winning their first playoff game and he was among the state leaders in batting average (.528), RBIs (39), hits (38), doubles (10), home runs (6) and runs scored (37) with an OPS of 1.558. Impressive junior year for El-Hakam.

He instilled a love for baseball (especially the Astros!) in me, and he has taken me to so many games throughout my life. I plan to play in college and hope to play in the MLB one day.
